Last month, Ashley Tuttleman of The Independent, (a weekly publication in Rwanda), paid a visit to the Nailab and other hubs within Nairobi in a bid to establish what is driving innovation in Nairobi. In her own words, Rwanda “has not yet endeavored to create economic or technological incubators, but there are discussions of budding ventures”.  She cited the NaiLab as  ”a precedent-setter for the region that potential Rwandan incubators have scores to learn from”.  Her visit to Nairobi supports the fact that Nairobi has a lot to offer in regards to innovation & entrepreneurship  that other countries are eager to learn from.
