Local content is an expression and communication of a community’s locally generated, owned and adapted knowledge and experience that is relevant to the community’s situation.
There is a plurality of local content in Africa, but more often than not the content is never available in digital form or on digital platforms.
In Kenya, local digital content can be used to share and provide information on all aspects of the country’s socio-economic, political, cultural and religious aspects.
